Hot Bike: Gary Fisher Superfly

This one is pretty nice. It's the Fisher Superfly. A 29" wheeled, carbon-fibre lightning bolt. And, it weighs in at under 23 lbs, which makes it Fisher's lightest off-road offering. We only have one in stock, a 17.5", and (unfortunately) we will not be able to get more. It's $3549. This is a race winner, for sure!

Hot Bike: Specialized Transition Expert

Like a razor's edge. The new Transition Expert from Specialized. One of the most advanced multi-sport bikes ever produced. Super-aerodynamic. Very light. Revolutionary seat-tube which allows for independent stack and reach adjustment. This is a winner. $3899. Want the details from the source? Click here.

Hot Bike: Specialized Stumpjumper FSR 29

Gawd!! So smooth it's like cream. It's a new 29er full-suspension bike from Specialized. It draws from both their Stumpjumper, and Epic line-up... meaning it has a "Brain" (smart) inertia valve on the rear shock. Fast, controllable, and perfect for those who want big wheels on an efficient FS package. Plus, it looks very cool, thereby making it an off-road heart-melter, with brains and beauty. Wow! Yours for only 3319 clams. Want the details from the source? Click here.

Hot Bike: Specialized Epic Expert Carbon

That's right, it's like radioactive hot. Why? Uhm, carbon and Epic... Do we need to say more? You take the fastest full-suspension bike on the XC circuit, and then you make it ultra-light with Specialized's FACT (carbon tubed) frame. It adds up to speed and power off-road. Want to dominate? You will need a wallet with $4229 in it, and a little skill and ability on the side. Want the details from the source? Click here.

Fast, New Wheel from Mavic: R-SYS

Super cool! Get this: The spokes are made of tubular carbon. Yes, like straws. They are light, stiff, strong, and "comfortable." Here's the blurb from Mavic: "Antique wheels were made of wood with spokes working in compression. The second generation appeared in the 19th century with drawn steel spokes working in traction. The revolutionary 3rd generation of wheels from Mavic features tubular carbon spokes working both in traction and in compression. Benefit: Lighter AND Stiffer." Anyway, they are probably the coolest, highest-tech, road-wheels on the market. Weight: 570g front and 785g rear. And, that also makes them some of the lightest (durable) wheelsets around. Yours for only $1449/pr. Available with Shimano or Campagnolo bodies.

Commuting, Spinning Wonder-Pedal from Shimano

So, what is it? Is it a road-pedal for mountain-shoes? A spin-cycle pedal? A commuter's pedal? Something for those canal-path rides with your kids, or boyfriend/girlfriend? Yes, yes, yes and yes... and you will probably find other uses for it, too. It's versatile, and it's brand new from Shimano. The A-530. $99.95/pr.
