Liberty! Bicycles presents the 12-Mile Twilight Series First things first: Please note that we did not create this Series of races because we think vampires are popular. It is also purely coincidental that the last race in the Series is on the night of Friday the 13th. Liberty! Bicycles does not promote vampires, nor do we seek their endorsement, should they exist. We do acknowledge that sometimes weird things happen when the sun goes down; But, this is not indicative of our plans. Vampires... Blah. The 12-Mile Twilight Series is new for us. It's a night series; well, actually a twilight series... We wanted a series of Niagara-based off-road events which would be different from anything we have hosted before. For adults, races will start at sunset, and for young people and novices they will begin one half-hour before sunset. Long and Short Courses, respectively. Races begin on Friday 21 May and take place every two weeks until their conclusion on 13 August. Front and rear lights -- as well as glow-sticks (supplied) -- will be required. We are working on providing an innovative and efficient timing system, special promotional pricing on lighting, a challenging course, some unique photo and video opportunities, and a whole lot of fun for the entire Summer.
